Offtopic! need help! I need to find a theme for my research. The subject must be taken from EStonian media sphere. If anyone has any good ideas, please let me know. I think my brains have frozen in this freekin cold here.
O.k. , when I am emphazising things about Estonia it is often about e-Estonia. Something about the people working at Skype or companies related to e-commerce. One topic could be what Juri Kaljundi addressed in December: 'Estonia is the Silicon Valley of the Baltic Sea'. On the other hand it would be interesting to know about how retired people mastering their daily live. If it's covered by daily media.
I think I won`t touch anything political, as It has never interested me and I don`t know how politics work. BUt...I should somehow perhaps connect advertisement /publishing with the relationship between two nations (est vs rus). so yes, thanks mika :), my idea is getting somewhere now. BUt not quite there yet. can anyone go more specific from here?
Since we are in the blogosphere, there was/is an ongoing debate about blogger against journalism. Or blogging versus old media. Estonia has a lot of internet users maybe one could see here some specific changes or developments. And maybe this situation could become more critical to old media like TV in a small country.
I decided to research on how can audiovisual media manipulate with human mind. how do adds modify attitudes towards some certain subject. I haven`t found the right phrasing for the statement /question yet....but I think you know what I mean ;)
